I was trying to find a way to encourage my students to CURVE their FINGERS and came up with these two etudes for smooth parallel 3rds. The first puts them in the right hand and the second in the left. I have yet to find a student who can execute these with flat fingers!!
So... Ersatz Czerny, perhaps?
